Wood-splitting Fundraiser

Sandbagging is behind us and so it is time to turn our minds and sore muscles toward wood splitting! Christine is now coordinating the wood deliveries and needs to know who has a bickup trucks and trailers available for October 15, 16 and 22, 23.  Please let us know what size of truck box you have, what size your trailer is and which days your vehicle or trailer is available.  

We also need experienced buckers with saws and safety gear.  Please let us know if you have experience, a saw or gear.   We really need buckers!

Also, the wood splitting and brushing may conflict for the the October 22/ 23 weekend but we will plan the wood splitting and work the brushing into the schedule as more information becomes available.

Truck/flatbed volunteer required

After the weekend of the 17th/18th..as the club finishes sandbagging on the 24th/25th we will require a truck flatbed to deliver the product to local businesses. If you or anyone you know is able to fill this position. Fuel is compensated. Please let Audrey Rowell/Stuart Gairns know. Thank-you

Ski Club Fundraiser

Hello,  The most dreaded word among Ski Club Members  SANDBAGGING!!!!!! It is that time of the year again fellow members and we  NEED YOUR HELP. This is the clubs most profitable fundraiser of the year and requires everyone's  participation to be effective. Place: Hart Mohawk..across from weigh scales Time:  September 16  start at 5:30 till dusk           September 17   8- 4:30          September 18   8- 4;30 Please bring lots of pallets (no light weight ones please), we need about 120  for this weekend.  Lots of places around town have them outside and they are  normally there for the taking.  Art Knapps, Princess Auto, Canadian Tire, etc. They need to be sturdy pallets (the odd broken one board we can deal with - repair, etc.) Please wear appropriate clothing for weather and dirt.. gloves, hat. and lots of H2O and snacks.
