NG Festival INFO

Hello,

The PG Ski Club is hosting a NG Festival Day on the 25th of February at Purden. If you would like your child to participate in this festival you MUST PRE-REGISTER.  Registrations will NOT be taken at the hill. Registration is accepted until Monday the 20th.

There is a registration fee 15.00 payable at day of festival. Lift passes are 25.00 for competitors and family members. These passes MUST be purchased as a group. You will be charged full fare at ticket booth.
When entering your child please list how many other tickets are required and if your child needs a pass also.

The Smithers Ski Club will be hosting the third annual invitational and we invite all clubs to come and participate in our events.

FEB 19- Hudson Bay Mountain Scavenger Hunt

Invitational Dual Race:           Located on Turkey Shoot

                                                Team event based on average Team time

                                                9:45     Meet at Club cabin above day lodge collect bibs

                                                10:00-10:45     Race course open for practice runs

                                                11:00   First Run

                                                12:00  Second Run- each racer must make one run in each course

                                                1:00     Barbeque in front of club cabin

                                                2:30     Awards- Team and individual awards

Hudson Bay Mountain Scavenger Hunt:        Starting Point Club Cabin

                                                Fun event that will take you around the mountain and maybe challenge                                                      you as well.

                                                10:00   Meet at  club cabin to receive your first clue

                                                10:00-2:00       Scavenger Hunt

                                                2:30     Meet back at club cabin for awards-remember speed may not be                                                                  all you need

NG Festival INFO

Hello,  a few notes to cover:

1.   Although there is a race in Quesnel this weekend. NG  regular schedule is still a GO at the local hills.

2.   I will be posting a race notice that came from Smithers there is an NG race being offered Feb 18th and 19th..again the PG club should register as a team. If you are interested in taking your child(ren) to this race please notify me by Tues the 14th.

3.  As stated before, our local ski club is also hosting an NG Festival event for Saturday Feb 25th. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!!! below I have compiled a potential list of what is required to run a festival day smoothly. You DO NOT need to ski to help out with this event. If you know of a high school student that needs volunteer hours send them my way. The success of these races depends on the volunteers..lets make this a fun day for the kids. Please do not be intimidated by the tasks.. I can give you more info if you are interested in a specific task.
